Incident details:

I contacted Reporting pa,tl 'M . .. . . . [ who stated that on 03/22/23 at approximately 171O hours, s e was loading her vehicle with her personal belongings out in the schools' parking lot. stated that she placed her work rolling case containing a Hacienda La Puente Unified School District issued Dell model 3380 laptop, 1 ergonomic mouse, and several student files besides her vehicle and forgot to place it inside the vehicle stated she drove off campus and did not notice it was missing until 03/23/23. Upon investigation I reviewed the school surveillance footage and saw that on 03/23/23 at approximately 1713 hours, a black in color pick-up truck (possibly GMC) drove up alongside of the rolling case. A male adult exited the vehicle, picked up the rolling case and placed it inside his vehicle. The driver then drove northbound on Tonopah Ave. and out of view. I was unable to clearly see the vehicles license plate or identify the driver. I entered the stolen property into the Automated Property System at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Industry Station. An investigation is pending upon further information received.
