Incident details:

RO STATES THAT THERE IS 2 JUVENILES THAT ARE POSSIBLY IS POSSESSION OF A LARGE AMOUNT OF MARIJUANA AND ARE REFUSING TO LET SCHOOL OFFICIALS SEARCH THEIR BAGS - AO ADVISES SPEAKING WITH JUVENILES AND PRINCIPAL . AFTER SPEAKING WITH PRINCIPAL, WHO RELATED HIS ONLY PROBABLE CAUSE TO SEARCH THE STUDENDS BACKPACKS WAS THE SMELL OF MARIJUANA ON THEIR CLOTHES, AO SPOKE WITH JUVENILES INFORMALLY. JUVENILES WERE NOT DETAINED, BUT WERE WAITING FOR THEIR PARENTS TO ARRIVE TO PICK THEM UP. AO SPOKE ABOUT WHY THE SCHOOL WANTED TO $EACH THE BAGS AND THE REASONING (SAFETY) CONCERNS THE SCHOOL HAD. AFTER A FEW MINUTES THE FEAMLE STUDENT ADMITTED SHE HAD A NICOTINE VAPE DEVICE IN HER BACKPACK, BUT NO MARIJUANA. THE MALE STUDENT, THE FEMALE'S BROTHER STATED HE DID NOT CARE ANYMORE IF WE SEARCHED THE BAGS, BECAUSE THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY MARIJUANA. AO CONTINUED TO SPEAK WITH THE BROTHER AND SISTER WHILE WAITING FOR THE PARENTS TO ARRIVE ABOUT VARIOUS THINGS CONCERNING SCHOOL. - AO THEN WENT AND SPOKE WITH PRINCIPAL AND ADVISED THAT BOTH STUDENTS ADVISED WE COULD SEARCH THE BAGS, WHEN THE PARENTS ARRIVED AND THAT THE MALE STUDENT FELT HE WAS BEING SINGLED OUT. THE MALE STUDENT HAD MENTIONED BEING SEARCHED VARIOUS OTHER TIMES DURING THE SCHOLL YEAR FOR MARIJUANA AND FELT THE SCHOOL WAS "OUT TO GET HIM." tHE STUDENTS BOTH WERE ADAMANT THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY MARIJUANA IN THEIR BACKPACKS AND WHEN THEIR PARENTS ARRIVED, THE SCHOL COULD SEARCH THEM AND WOULD SEE THEY WERE NOT LYING. THE FEMALE STUDENT WAS SCARED BECAUSE SHE DID HAVE A NICOTINE VAPE DEVICE IN HER BACKPACK, WHICH VIOLATES SCHOOL POLICY, BUT EVENTUALLY ADMITTED IT TO THE AO. - AS THE AO AND PRINCIPAL WERE SPEAKING OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM, THE FATHER OF THE STUDENTS ARRIVED. WE BRIEFLY SPOKE WITH HIM, WHERE HE STATED IT WAS HIS FAULT THE STUDENTS CLOTHES SMELLED LIKE MARIJUANA. HE STATED HE GROWS MARIJUANA AND HAD PLACED THEIR CLOTHES IN A COUPLKE TOTES THAT HAD CONTAINED MARIJUANA AT ONE TIME. I ADVISED HIM THE FEMALE JUVENILE HAD ADMITTED TO HAVING A NICOTINE VAPING DEVICE IN HER BACKPACK, BUT THAT THEY HAD BOTH DENIED HAVING ANY MARIJUANA IN THEIR BACKPACKS. THE FATHER ASKED IF HE COULD TAKE THE KIDS HOME FOR THE DAY AND THE PRINCIPAL STATED THAT HE COULD. THE FATHER WENT INSIDE THE OFFICE AND GATHERED UP THE JUVENILES AND IMMEDIATELY LEFT THE SCHOOL WITHOUT FURTHER CONVERSATION WITH SCHOOL OFFICIALS. WHICH SEEMED ODD. - THE PRINCIPAL STATED THE JUVENILES DID NOT HAVE TO LEAVE THE SCHOOL (NOT SUSPENDED), BUT THE FATHER TOOK THEM HOME FOR THE DAY ANYWAY. - FOR INFORMATION ONLY AT THIS TIME.
