Incident details:
On January 26, 2023 at about 1300 hours, I responded to La Puente High School in regards to a vandalism repo1t.
handed me six photos that were taken from the boy's restroom walls showing the moniker "Mr Happy" written with a sharpie marker. He estimated the total clean up fee to be approximately $500.00 dollars.
I took possession of the THC pens and they were booked into the HLPSD evidence locker. See attached photos.
I next made contact with and I read him his rights per Miranda and he told me he understood his rights and agreed to talk with me.
I showed the two THC pens and I asked him if they were his property and he replied "yes." I then showed the six photos containing the moniker "Mr Happy" and I asked him if he was the person who wrote on the walls and he replied "Yes, that's me. I'm Mr Happy.' denied being affiliated with a gang or tagging crew.
was cited into the Los Angeles Probation Department who will contact him at later date and time for the indicated charges of 594(a)(1) PC and 11357 (b) H&S. was released to
after being issued a citation for the above matter.
The Hacienda La Puente USD is requesting that the Los Angeles Probation Department mandates to pay the restitution in the amount of $500.00 for the above damages.
