SEE ATTACHED EMAIL. - PER ATTACHED EMAIL: I am writing to report two thefts within the past two weeks. My son left his track bag in his third period teachers room two weeks ago. The following day he went to retrieve it and it was gone. He checked lost and found and asked the teacher but was unable to locate it. We replaced over $500 worth of track gear. I did not report it because it was our son's mistake for leaving his bag unattended and we used it as a lesson learned. However, last Friday our son had his wallet stolen out of his track bag while he was at practice. He had over $200 fraudulent charges made towards his account. - PER 95C HE ADV'D 95P7 AND HE WILL HANDLE - I contacted RP, mother via 21. She stated on 3-10-23. her son, [redacted] had his wallet stolen from his track bag while at track practice after school. RP stated she gets alerts on her phone whenever there is a bank transaction on her sons debit card and was in fact alerted over the weekend of transactions occuring. RP stated there were only two transactions of $8.99 that were actually withdrawn from the account, no other charges went thru. RP stated the debit card is a Green Light Debit Card and the account is set up so it cannot be overdrawn. RP stated she did lock the card over the weekend, however, was still receiving alerts that transactions were attempted to go thru that totaled approx $800. RP stated she did call bank and now closed the account and card will be replaced. RP given I number for documentation purposes.
