Calling the Cops

RP states her daughter was walking out of the girls restroom when male student went to her and told her he was going to find where she lives and kill her. Inc was reported to teacher but was reported to sch admin. - Upon arrival of the residence, Sgt. MeNeeley and I made contact with the parents of [redacted]. They were made aware of the incident and comment made at school. [redacted] admitted he went up to telling her he was going to find where she lives and kill her, but said he was just referencing the animated game called "Fortnite". [redacted] said he knew it was stupid to say, and has no intentions to do what he said. [redacted] mother, gave consent search room for any possible weapons, Sgt. McNeeley could not locate any weapons. [redacted] had no desire or the ability to carry out the threat he made at school. The crime of California Penal code 422 14 Criminal Threats was unfounded.

SEARCHED "CAN I KILL PEOPLE AS A 10YO" AND ALSO WROTE A NOTE SAYING SHE GETS SO ANGRY SHE WANTS TO STAB PEOPLE / WILL NOTIFY PARENTS, STUDENT DOES HAVE A THERAPIST / STUDENT IN RP'S OFFICE - ENR TO RESD W/ MOTHER - NEG ON PC 422. NEG ON 5585. CONSENT SEARCH OF RES WAS C4 JUV HAS NO ACCESS TO FIREARMS OR WEAPONS AT RES. - HAS A SAFE IN HIS ROOM WITH FIREARMS, FIREARMS ARE LOCKED AND SECURE IN SAFE.
